My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. The location is a traveler's dream, with all the major attractions just a stone's throw away. Place is beautifully decorated with history of zanzibar stone town . Bed was super comfortable after a long tiring flight The staff deserves special praise for their exceptional service - they were not only helpful but also accommodated an early check-in, making my trip even more convenient. This hotel truly knows how to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. Highly recommended! All utilities are near by

The staff is amazing. They are very helpful, cheerful, polite and kind. The rooftop for the breakfast was nice and the bed was comfortable. Very spacious bathroom .. and the location wise you are right in the center of stonetown.

The property is a beautiful historical house, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The room was large, clean, comfortable and was oozing the Zanzibari history and spirit. The bathroom was equipped with amenities including a wonderfully scented bath salt... everything was just relaxing, comfortable and "pole pole". The staff was extremely helpful, polite and efficient. I had my laundry done and couple of local errands arranged - all arrived spot on and on time. The location is central and easy to access, yet away from the noisy part. Staying in Kisiwa house was a joyful experience and I can highly recommend.

Unique heritage property with clean, modern facilities Exceptional service from the gregarious, friendly and professional staff. Charles / Esther / Shande/ Rama are to be recognized; tremendously helpful and went out of the way to help with tours, food reccs, airline scheduling and just answering questions about everything in Zanzibar. Also please recognize staff at breakfast whose names I regrettably cannot recall. I asked if I could sample a traditional breakfast one day and they surprised me with it !! One of my best experiences Kudos to manger Frank as well who coordinated plans and helped out when my pre-arranged taxi did not show up !!

We spend our last day in stone town and it was so nice that the hotel was located near all the sightseeings. The manager (Frank) was very helpful. He arranged a tour for us to prison island which made our last day incredible. Also for the the next morning he arranged a taxi to the airport for us and they gave us a breakfast box to go, which was lovely. The hotelroom was clean. The room and especially the bathroom looks better in reality than in the pictures. What we also loved about the bathroom is that they gave us water in the bottles for brushing our teeth. In the other hotels we bought our own bottles and therefore we were amazed by this little detail. The staff in the hotel were also very lovely.

The service was excellent. The staff was helpful and attentive, making me feel comfortable as a solo traveler. The breakfast was great and filling (I would recommend more local breakfast options). The staff helped me with my tours, allowed me to check in early, and were overall the best. It was a little too pricey compared to the average stone town hotel, but the facilities were in perfect shape, and I had no complaints.

Lots of choice in Stone Town, picked Kisiwa as didnt want a pool etc as wanted to get out and about to do the sights for a couple of days. Lovely local feel, the staff are incredibly friendly, especially Ester and Charles on reception and Tariq at breakfast. Breakfast is nicely done for a small hotel, sliced fruit and bread basket, choice of eggs etc and pancakes if you want it, very friendly attentive service, served on a roof terrace. Rooms are nice and well appointed, with AC, I went for a large shower but some rooms have a bath as well if you choose, had everything I needed, plus turn down service to put together the mosquito nets. A nice, friendly place to stay and I would stay here again. Location is great, just a few mins walk through the historic lanes to most sights.

We had an excellent stay. Pretty rooms, boutique style with very comfortable beds and pillows, good air conditioning and vans and a modern bathroom. The staff is very friendly, going above and beyond with useful tips and helping out with a reliable taxi service when ours didnt show up. Great location and the breakfast service was perfect. We love the overall hotel style with the big hallways and all the seating areas and photos on the walls. Thanks for a wonderful stay
